We're building the world's first offline secure storage platform. We don't have specific roles open right now, but we're always interested in hearing from talented people. Submit your CV and tell us what you'd bring to Firevault.
Our Mission
Firevault is building the world's first offline secure storage platform. In an era where ransomware attacks, cloud breaches, and data theft dominate headlines, organisations need a fundamentally different approach to protecting their most critical information. That is exactly what we are creating: infrastructure that disconnects sensitive data from the internet entirely, eliminating the attack surface that makes traditional storage vulnerable.
Cloud-only approaches to data protection carry inherent risk. Every system connected to the internet is a potential target, and no amount of encryption or monitoring can fully eliminate that exposure. Firevault takes a different path. By combining air-gapped physical security with enterprise-grade digital workflows, we give organisations the ability to store, manage, and retrieve their data without ever exposing it to online threats.
Our vision extends beyond storage. We are defining a new category of data protection, one built on the principle that the safest data is data that cannot be reached. Every member of our team plays a direct role in making that vision a reality, from engineering and product design to operations and compliance.
Why Work at Firevault
Solve Hard Problems
Physical security meets digital innovation. You will work at the intersection of hardware engineering, cryptography, and enterprise software, tackling challenges that simply do not exist anywhere else in the industry.
Own Your Impact
We are a small, focused team where every person has genuine ownership over their work. There are no layers of bureaucracy between your ideas and their implementation. What you build ships, and it matters.
Security First Culture
We practice what we preach. Security is not just our product. It is woven into how we operate, how we communicate, and how we treat the data entrusted to us by our clients and our team.
Shape the Standard
Offline secure storage is a new category. There is no established playbook. Joining Firevault means helping to define the standards, best practices, and expectations for an entire sector of data protection.
What We Look For
We do not hire for specific job titles. We hire people who bring the right combination of curiosity, rigour, and initiative. The problems we solve require individuals who are comfortable navigating ambiguity, who ask sharp questions, and who take pride in getting the details right.
Clarity of communication matters deeply at Firevault. Whether you are writing code, drafting a proposal, or explaining a complex security concept to a client, we value people who can articulate their thinking with precision and confidence. Strong writing and clear reasoning are as important as technical ability.
We also look for people who genuinely care about the mission. Data protection is not an abstract concern for our clients. It is existential. The organisations we serve trust us with information that, if compromised, could cause irreversible harm. That responsibility shapes everything we do, and we need team members who feel the weight of it.
Life at Firevault
Firevault is based in the United Kingdom and registered in England and Wales. We operate with a lean, distributed team that values focus and autonomy over performative presence. We believe that meaningful work happens when people have the space, tools, and trust to do their best thinking.
Our commitment to privacy and trust extends to how we treat our own people. We do not monitor keystrokes, mandate unnecessary meetings, or measure productivity by hours logged. We care about outcomes: the quality of your work, the clarity of your ideas, and the reliability of your commitments.
If you are the kind of person who thrives on building something genuinely new, who wants to work alongside a team that takes security seriously at every level, and who is energised by the idea of defining an entirely new category of data protection, we want to hear from you. Submit your CV below and tell us what you would bring to Firevault.
