Firevault is proud to sponsor the CBN CyberSummit: Practical Security, Policy Frameworks, and Industry Growth, hosted by the Cybersecurity Business Network at Bird & Bird, London on Tuesday 23 June 2026. The full-day forum runs from 10:00 to 17:00, followed by a networking reception until 17:45.

The summit brings together senior leaders from the UK cyber sector with policymakers, CISOs and executives from Critical National Infrastructure, with a focus on tangible, layered resilience rather than another round of threat assessment. It is exactly the audience Firevault is built for.

Why this room matters

Attendance is capped at 100 to 120 senior delegates. The room combines Government and Parliamentary representation with C-suite and CISO leadership from Health, Finance, Energy, Telecoms and Insurance, alongside the legal and reinsurance voices that shape how UK organisations respond when things go wrong. Few events in the UK calendar concentrate policymaking authority and operational cyber responsibility in the same room in this way.

Speaker pedigree

Confirmed speakers announced by the Cybersecurity Business Network include:

  • Baroness Liz Lloyd, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and Minister for Digital Economy, delivering the keynote address.
  • Alison Griffiths MP, Officer of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Cyber Innovation.
  • Irfan Hemani, Deputy Director of Cyber at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
  • Sam Kirby-French, Global Chief Information Security Officer at BAE Systems.
  • Liz Banbury, Chief Information Security Officer at Thames Water.
  • Matt Warman, Chair of the Cybersecurity Business Network and former Digital Minister.
  • Jamie MacColl, Senior Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute.
  • Rory Innes, Chief Executive of The Cyber Helpline.
  • Tom Clementi, Chief Executive of Pool Re.
  • Jenny Murray, Partner at Bird & Bird.

Between them, the speakers cover national policy, defence-grade security, regulated water infrastructure, terrorism reinsurance, victim support, academic threat research and the legal architecture that underpins UK cyber obligations.

Agenda highlights

The day is structured around four themes: threats to UK business and Critical National Infrastructure, strengthening organisational resilience, innovation and growth in the UK cyber sector, and advocacy and policy. Programme highlights include:

  • The Ministerial keynote from Baroness Liz Lloyd on the Government direction for UK cyber.
  • Two flagship panels: The Evolving Threat Landscape Facing the UK and Where Next? The Future of UK Cyber.
  • A CNI Leaders Hour featuring three fireside chats with senior leaders from Health, Insurance and Energy.
  • Interactive workshops led by Bird & Bird and by sponsors.
  • Dedicated networking throughout the day, closing with an evening reception.

What Firevault will bring

Firevault will be present in the sponsor showcase, with the team available for private conversations across the day. We will be demonstrating Offline Secure Storage and the Firebreak physical-path control range, and taking part in the workshop track to discuss how CNI operators can remove exposure points before consequence management is ever needed.

The message we are bringing to the room is straightforward: connectivity is now the primary attack surface, and the fastest way to protect the data that keeps a country running is to make sure the most important copies are not reachable from any network at all.

"UK policy is moving decisively towards resilience, supply-chain assurance and Critical National Infrastructure protection. Our Disconnect to Protect approach was built for exactly this moment. Sponsoring the CBN CyberSummit lets us stand alongside the Minister, senior CISOs and CNI leaders shaping what happens next, and show them a control that removes the exposure point rather than trying to defend it forever."
